Vancouver Canucks superstar goalie Roberto Luongo is back on the ice. Luongo, who was injured Nov. 22 in Pittsburgh, went out for a 10-minute skate with fellow injured player Ryan Johnson at 10 a.m., prior to the Canucks' regularly scheduled 10:30 a.m. skate.

On Monday, at Howe and Cordova, an elderly man came out of anoffice building and stepped out onto the slush-covered sidewalk. Hetook the little shuffling steps that people take when negotiatingslush. A man walking beside him looked down at the man's shoes andsaid:
