Dion under fire because of ontario mp's comments
CALGARY -- Liberal Leader Stephane Dion was on the defensiveFriday night in Alberta after Ontario Liberal MP Garth Turner made acomment on his blog comparing Albertans to "greedy ... separatistlosers in Quebec." "You might not agree with everything [Dion] says,but you have to admire this about him," Turner wrote. "He stood uponce to the self-aggrandizing, hostile, me-first, greedy, macho,selfish and balkanizing separatist losers in Quebec. I guess he cando it again in Alberta," He said he was trying to make the pointthat Dion has the guts to stand up to the Alberta oilpatch onclimate change, but took it too far.

Double murder suspected in Windsor garage fire
WINDSOR, Ont. -- Police scoured this city Friday for twomissing men who investigators now say may have been victims of adouble murder. Police have been looking for Panayotis (Peter)Kambas, 53, and Vaios Koukousoulas, 63, since a suspicious firelevelled a garage and burned out a vehicle on June 29.

Three dead after car plunges into Ontario lake
MINETT, Ont. -- Three young Toronto men are dead after a carplunged into Lake Joseph in Ontario's Muskoka cottage country lateThursday. The Ontario Provincial Police said the single vehicleaccident happened on a bridge at about 7 p.m. The men have beenidentified as Tyler Mulcahy, 20, Cory Mintz, 20, and KouroshTotonchian, 19. A fourth passenger, 19-year-old Nastasia Elzinga,was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
