Amount of 2008 Permanent Fund Dividend Check Announced
The wait is over - if you've been looking forward to knowing the amount of the 2008 Permanent Fund Dividend check. The amount was released this morning, during a news conference in Anchorage. The exact amount is $2069, which will be combined with a $1200 energy rebate amount - making the payout a whopping $3,269.00.It is a record, and will be sent out to 610,768 Alaskans.
