Near-naked man seen jogging near highway
Areport Friday of a man running near Highway 101 north of Prunedale clad only in a pink towel prompted a fruitless search by law enforcement officers. California Highway Patrol and sheriff's deputies responded to a report at 12:50 p.m. of a near-naked runner near Dunbarton Road.

Teen attacked in Seaside park
A teenage boy suffered a serious head wound and two others suspected of attacking him at Laguna Grande Park in Seaside were arrested this week. Deputy Police Chief Louis Lumpkin said the incident happened about 5 p.m. Wednesday and was possibly gang-related.
