Jones officials reschedule sales tax meeting to Sept. 10
A public meeting to discuss extending the special purpose local option sales tax in Jones County for another five years scheduled for Sept. 11 at the W.E. Knox Civic Center in Gray has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Sept. 10. The change was made because a 9/11 commemorative observance will be held at the civic center on Sept. 11.
