MU class sets record; Freshmen boost total enrollment.
Thousands of elated college freshmen broke through an imaginary barrier yesterday to start a new life. Upward of 90 percent of the University of Missouri’s record 5,812 freshmen were believed to have walked through the Columns on the Francis Quadrangle toward Jesse Hall just before 7 p.m. yesterday.
