15-year-old boy missing from Wilmington
The Wilmington Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 15-year-old boy who has been missing for a week. Rakim Reedy ran away from home Dec. 29 and his family has not seen him since, said Lucy Crockett, spokeswoman for the police department.

A 41-year-old Wilmington man on Tuesday was sentenced to six years in federal prison for buying cocaine and selling crack.Michael Alexis Covington pleaded guilty in October 2008 to cocaine possession and admitted he was a felon with a firearm, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
