Judge Patti Fischer from Warsaw in Coshocton County put an emphasis on the educational aims of the 4-H program, giving exhibitors tips throughout the show on how to improve their future efforts.

MOUNT VERNON -- Eighty-seven contestants turned out for the Rough Truck competition at the Knox County Fair on Wednesday night, and they didn't disappoint the large crowd that gathered to cheer them on. There were rolls -- by Clint Knuckel of Howard and Adam Blankenhorn of Mount Vernon -- there were spins, and in the end, there was a champion.
