Three people survive wild ride in Fourth of July accident on I-5
Three Corvallis people were uninjured after their pickup crashed Friday afternoon just north of Sutherlin. The pickup was badly damaged and about 50 feet of guardrail was destroyed in the accident.

Motorcyclist dies in crash
A motorcyclist missed a curve and went off the road into a ditch Saturday evening. Ryan P. Schenck, 27, of Albany died at the scene. Fisher Funeral Home transported the deceased pending further arrangements.
