Baylor to search for new university president
Staff reports Baylor University in Waco is searching for a new president, regents voted today during a retreat at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.In a news release, board chairman Howard K. Batson said that current President John M. Lilley rejected plans for the board to replace him in the final portion of his five-year contract. So the board voted to immediately replace Lilley.More information is expected to be release during an 11 a.m. news conference.Lilley is Baylor's 13th president and took office since Jan. 1, 2006.Check back for more details.
