Blu-Ray Xbox 360 Rumor (Once Again) Denied
Microsoft Entertainment & Devices Division President Robbie Bach told the San Francisco Chronicle that the highly-speculated Blu-ray enhanced Xbox 360 is still nothing more than a high-def dream. "If you look at the Blu-ray player market, you haven't seen the acceleration everybody expected (since the demise of HD DVD). It's not as much about whether all the content is in a Blu-ray format or a HD DVD format. You have to look at how fundamentally compelling the difference is between a progressive scan DVD player and the picture that it can produce and what you get on a high-definition player. The reality is there is some difference, but most people look at it and say, 'I am not going to pay extra for that.' There is nothing to even talk about [Blu-ray Xbox 360 plans] right now with regard to the next generation. That is so far out that there isn't anything to talk about."

AusGamers: Metal Gear Solid 4 Review
Like Snake's old cardboard box, much of the game is only here for fan-service - novelty and nostalgia purposes; it really goes above and beyond in that respect. However, if the game's humour and drama is not your style and you don't have the history for the nostalgia, then some pretty polygons, a long-winded story and a bit of generic stealth-action might be all MGS4 has left for you.

Game Freaks 365: Metal Gear Solid 4 Review
What a package. Game Freaks 365 didn't even touch on Metal Gear Online, the multi-player aspect of Metal Gear Solid 4 that allows for all kinds of different online modes, including a Snake-vs.-everyone match. It is still the single-player that will have you most enthralled. Everything about this game, from the graphics and cut-scenes to the voice acting and past references, will have you begging for more. Metal Gear Solid 4 is a fitting conclusion to the entire franchise.

Reuters writes: " A U.S. judge's order to Google Inc to turn over YouTube user data to Viacom Inc sparked an outcry on Thursday from privacy advocates in the midst of a legal showdown over video piracy. Viacom, owner of movie studio Paramount and MTV Networks, requested the information as part of its $1 billion copyright infringement lawsuit against the popular online video service and its deep-pocketed parent, Google. Judge Louis Stanton of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered Google on Tuesday to turn over as evidence a database with usernames of YouTube viewers, what videos they watched when, and users' computer addresses."

Could trophies/levels be a means to virtual earning power in Home? A snippet from the article: "And so here we are with Sony introducing the Trophy system.
