Lopez lifts Nats; Griffey hits 573rd in loss
Felipe Lopez hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, rallying the Nationals to an 8-4 victory over the Reds, who received Ken Griffey Jr.'s 573rd homer, tying him with Harmon Killebrew on the all-time list on Tuesday.

Barbara Hughes Just another example of having an inexperienced manager with no instinct regarding baseball - in a tie game when the pitcher let the leadoff hitter on he should have stopped and got another pitcher - instead he waits, takes him out, and the bases are loaded and an exred hits a grand slam - anyone knows lopez and Kearns were upset when they were traded last year as was I!!! comment by Barbara Hughes - May 23, 2007 12:03 PM [GMT]  [ reply ]
