Cleveland fans upset with James' choice
Maybe LeBron James stepped over the line with his allegiance to the New York Yankees. A day after the Indians routed the Yankees 12-3 in their AL playoff opener Thursday night, the buzz around town wasn't about Cleveland's offensive power surge or pitcher C.C. Sabathia's gutty performance. Instead, fans jammed sports talk radio lines and Internet message boards, crying foul over their frustration with the NBA superstar's traitorous appearance in the stands wearing a Yankees cap.

Les Hughes The fans should be upset. What is LeBron thinking? He's from Ohio, plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, yet shows up at the Indians game in a Yankees cap. Just another example of questionable behavior from an overpaid athlete. If I was the Cavs owner I would be very upset and would discuss this with him. How about some allegiance to your hometown LeBron! comment by Les Hughes - Oct 5, 2007 10:23 PM [GMT]  [ reply ]
Barbara Hughes I agree with you - just typical of OVERPAID ATHLETES today - they have no loyalty!!! comment by Barbara Hughes - Oct 6, 2007 12:29 PM [GMT]  [ reply ]
