NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- To pro football fans who live outside the Boston and New York metropolitan areas, it must look as if Santa Claus lingered later this year or got an exceedingly early start on next Christmas.

Les Hughes The NFL Network is a bad idea. For the league to be successful they need fans. Doesn't the league already make enough money from television contracts, licensed products, and ticket sales. How much is enough? comment by Les Hughes - Dec 29, 2007 3:38 PM [GMT]  [ reply ]
Gary Stant SO I guess you are saying THE GOLF CHANNEL is a bad idea, just because your cable company does not have the NFL Network, you are not happy. I think Congress needs help the homeless and work on Health Care and let the NFL Network & Time Warner work out the details themselves. The one thing that is weird, how did The Dish & Direct work it out but Time Warner can't. HMM!!! I think Time Warner is just Greedy!!!!!!!!!! y opinion The NFL Network is great, I love it!!! comment by Gary Stant - Jan 8, 2008 11:21 PM [GMT]  [ reply ]
Les Hughes No, The Golf Channel is not a bad idea. They are showing us tournament coverage we didn't have before. The NFL Network is taking games that we would have seen before and showing them on their network. The NFL Network is just the beginning of subscription-based sports coverage. Someday we will be paying to watch every game. reply by Les Hughes - Jan 11, 2008 01:36 AM [GMT]
