Local groups donate prom dresses to area students
The ladies of Springfield and the Springfield Masonic Community have stepped up to make prom an affordable year-end event for local high school girls.

barbhughes Well, when I went to the proms I had a new gown, the boys wore dark suits, we went out to eat and usually had hamburgers, etc at a nice restaurant, the boy brought a corsage and drove his parents car, there were no expensive pictures taken and we probably had a better time then they do today!!! If you want to cut the costs of going to a prom DO WHAT WE DID - no tuxedos, no limousines, no expensive pictures, no expensive dinners and you will see you will have a better time than you thought you would!!! comment by barbhughes - Apr 4, 2008 2:18 PM [GMT]  [ reply ]
