i wish i would of read about this yesterday so i could of attended the meeting,....one thing i'd like to say is,..at least multnomah county police officer's knows there is a big problem with the use of deadly force within not only there own department, but all of the other counties out there,.......i am a little disapointed with washington county police department, they can't even admit that maybe they could of done things a little different before they ambushed my nephew shane grundmeyer, and however they want to justify what they did,..not only did they not give my nephew a chance to surrender,..innocent until proven guilty,........its what we all live by and beleive in,..right,??? my nephew poised no threat to those washington county officer's ,who waited for my nephew to come up the drive, on his way home ..the first bullet that the officer's shot, killed my nephew instantly.why did they continue shooting supposibly at what i don't know..there were 12 to 13 more shots fired at a suspect who was with no weapon of anykind,..after the first bullet killed him, there was a second bullit that went into his chest,..where did all those other bullit's go flying off to,.if they were so concerned about their own lives,.why were they shooting all over the place in a residential neighborhood..........its totally wrong,.i hope they have a hard time sleeping at night,.please tell me they at least have somekind of a heart,..they totally destroyed all of my familie's lives,..not to mention taking shane's life...........is this justified,.........i should say,.............hell no,...denny grundmeyer comment by DENNY GRUNDMEYER - Apr 15, 2008 03:52 AM [GMT] [ reply ] |
