State Sen. Scott named chancellor of California community college system
The Altadena Democrat is being forced out by term limits. He will assume oversight of the 109 two-year schools Jan. 1. State Sen. Jack Scott, an education reformer who served as president of two colleges, was named Thursday to be statewide chancellor of the California community college system.
