Phillips provides fireworks in Reds' win
It was a game that presumably meant nothing, an entertainment prelude before a fireworks show — two teams of tired and poor and huddled masses yearning to dig out of last place in their respective divisions with teaspoons.

I do not understand why Baker (when he gets a lineup that plays well together and wins) why the next day he changes it! He acts like he does not want to win - the season is half over and he claims he still does not know the players (in my opinion that is what springtraining is for) if he does not know their capabilities by now - HE NEVER WILL!!! comment by Barbara Hughes - Jul 4, 2008 2:07 PM [GMT] [ reply ] |
