Re the 2 drownings from the rented pontoon boat. I belong to the marina in question and was partially involved. Due to high wind and rain, and the condition of the boat, I could not get close enough to them. However the real fault lies with the rental company. They will rent to anyone with a credit card and give these uneducated boaters minimal instructions and directions for the almighty $$$. There are extenuating circumstances in play as well. I know that alcohol was involved, plus what were these people doing out at 11pm anyways. The rental company should stop renting during such dangerous low water conditions, especially to inexperienced boaters. It would be nice to have it - but who would it benefit - THE CONSUMER - I DOUBT IT - I use no more gas than I did in 1980 and my bill has doubled - as long as the PUCO makes the decision on price increase and Gas Companies get cost recovery to gouge you with - nothing will change - I sometimes wonder what overhead Columbia Gas has - IF ANY!!! comment by Barbara Hughes on Looking For Oil In Ohio Jul 4, 2008 2:18 PM [GMT] |

I do not understand why Baker (when he gets a lineup that plays well together and wins) why the next day he changes it!
