Sid Craig dies at age 76
Sid Craig, the co-founder of Jenny Craig Inc., who built the weight loss company with his wife and was a prominent thoroughbred horse owner has died, the company said Tuesday.Craig died Monday in San Diego following a long illness. He was 76.Sid and Jenny Craig founded Jenny Craig Inc. in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia. The company eventually grew to include 655 weight loss centers in four countries. In 2006, Nestle SA bought the Carlsbad-based company for $600 million.

Australia's inflation jumps 1.5% on-quarter
HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- Australia's inflation rate accelerated at a faster-than-expected 1.5% in the April-June period over the previous quarter, according to official data released Wednesday, hurting expectations the central bank may ease policy rates.
