Best Buy hikes quarterly dividend by 8%
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Best Buy Co. Inc. said Wednesday that it is raising its quarterly cash dividend to 14 cents a share, which represents an 8% increase from the 13-cent payout now in place. The electronics retailer said the new dividend, if authorized, would be payable on Oct. 28 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 7. Shares of Best Buy closed Tuesday at $41.02.
