Grapevine vandals have a nose for trouble
By Domingo Ramirez Jr. GRAPEVINE -- The temptation of the restroom at Perfumania must have been more powerful for vandals than Chanel's Allure.Someone caused $310 damage to the restroom ceiling at the store in Grapevine Mills mall Monday, but police say nothing was stolen. An employee discovered the damage Monday morning when she repeatedly tried to turn on the lights in the restroom, according to police reports. When the lights finally came on, the employee saw damaged ceiling tiles, the report states. But there was no dust or debris to indicate that someone may have slipped into the store through the ceiling.Perhaps the vandal had issues with restrooms instead of a Calvin Klein Obsession.

The rumble in the tumble: Fight for the right to dry
I have been meaning to have a word with my next-door neighbour in the upstate town where I have a small weekend home. A perfectly amiable retired gentleman – he used to work in the local match factory until it closed – he will insist on hanging his laundry in the garden. From our deck, we can almost read the labels on his yellowing boxers. And let me tell you, he does not shop at Calvin Klein.
