LONDON (MarketWatch) -- SunTrust Banks said second-quarter net income dropped 21% to $535.3 million, or $1.53 a share, a quarter which featured the sale of 10 million shares of Coca-Cola . SunTrust does not have any current plans to modify the dividend or issue additional shares of common stock and said it's completed the sale of Coke stock. Provisions for loan losses swelled to $448 million from $104.7 million. The quarter included a net 75 cents a share gain on one-time items.
