Goodrich Pete prices offer of 3 million shares at $64
TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- Goodrich Petroleum Corp., the Houston oil-and-gas company, priced an offering of 3 million common shares at $64 to raise net proceeds of $183.9 million. Goodrich also gave the underwriters an option on 450,000 more shares if demand for the offering requires. In a statement late on Tuesday, Goodrich said it would use the funds to pay the balance on its senior revolving-credit line and for general purposes. J.P. Morgan is running the books for the offering. Goodrich Pete announced the planned offering on Monday after the market closed. On Tuesday, its shares fell 8.2%, or $5.78, to $64.96. What we knew: The La Crosse Common Council directed Collins Outdoor Advertising and NSD Hotel Associates to negotiate the sale of a massive billboard along Copeland Avenue that stands in the way of a $4.5 million hotel to be built just north of downtown La Crosse. Collins withdrew from negotiations, prompting the city’s Plan Commission to recommend condemnation last week. NSD developer Paul Borsheim said the company offered to purchase the sign outright for $100,000, pay the profit on the sign for the life of the hotel or lease a “phantom” sign for the life of the hotel.
