And though there will be lots of fireworks, we doubt that the Democrats will outdo the opening and closing ceremonies in Beijing. Some see an ersatz Greek temple, others the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, where Martin Luther King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech 45 years ago today.
