Power pole electrocutes mother bear, cubs
GAMBO, N.L. -- It was no fairy tale ending for three bearsthat wandered into a dump and got electrocuted on a power pole. Thebears, a mother and two cubs, were found dead Friday, said ChrisMurley of Newfoundland's Natural Resources Department. The motherand one cub were found hanging from the cross members of the pole.The other cub was found at the base. All three were electrocuted,Murley said.
