Even on the day of perhaps his greatest coaching accomplishment, Stan Van Gundy was upstaged by Pat Riley. Van Gundy guided the Magic to their first playoff series victory in a dozen years Monday, and it just happened to be the same day Riley retired following a Hall-of-Fame NBA coaching career.
