Michael McWhertor of Kotaku says, "Additional 'spy' photos of the alleged PSP-3000 hardware update that we posted last night have come to our attention, again courtesy of the PSPChina.net message board. These shots show off what appears to be a working prototype of the PlayStation Portable, said to have built-in microphone support, among other alleged new functionality. Hit the jump for exciting photos of the new thinner PSP ring, another look at the PS button and one more cosmetic change. While you do say, chant 'This is a rumor, this is a rumor.'"

Final Fantasy VII will be getting a "new" version of the classic game from the massive franchise and it will be exclusive (for now at least) to the PLAYSTATION 3. It is unclear whether a new version will be a simple remake or an extension to the original like Crisis Core, and if it will be a Blu-ray release, or on the PSN.

GamersPlatform Writes: "The recent launch of the PlayStation Video Store has gotten a lot of feedback from its consumer. Some of it is bad and some of it is good. We know that PlayStation Video Store is just newly released but we want to point out how the PlayStation Video Store is currently inferior to its competition, which is the XBOX Live Video Marketplace. Hopefully, Sony will take action to this issues that have been brought up by majority of the consumers."

Brian from iStockAnalyst: Because of what I have written on here about Sony I have been accused many times of being a Nintendo or a Microsoft fanboy. Nothing could be further from the truth. I only report what I see. And what I see is a Sony that has lost its way. The facts are very, very simple. In the Playstation one generation Sony had massive global domination, nobody came anywhere near them. In the Playstation two generation Sony were hugely dominant again. Nintendo and Microsoft were minnows in comparison. Then we come to the Playstation three (PS3) generation and suddenly the wheels fall off. Sony are running third and it very much looks like it is going to stay that way. Analysts and fanboys continually promise or hope that a revival in fortunes is just around the corner, but it never comes. So what went wrong:
