Unexpected bonus from Indiana flooding: fewer bugs
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Spring flooding that damaged Indiana cropland delivered an unexpected bonus to farmers and homeowners — fewer crop-eating insects.Wet soil conditions in May and early June killed many insects by destroying their eggs or larva, said John Obermeyer, a field crops entomologist with the Purdue University Extension.

My sons are mirror-image twins. Somewhere I read that about 1/3 of identical twins fall into this category. The theory goes that mirror-image twins split later than other twins and have already begun to establish some distinction between their brain hemispheres.
