Electronic Theatre E3 2008 Preview: Patapon 2
Announced at SONY's Pre-E3 Press Conference (although having already been unveiled by Electronic Theatre days before), Patapon 2 is the sequel to this Easter's similarly named Patapon. Having been deemed one of the PlayStation Portable's most compelling titles – alongside LocoRoco, which also has had the benefit of having a sequel announced at this year's show – fans of the first title can expect more of the same; only bigger. Details are still scarce, but what we do know is...

Whore Your Way Into The US Resistance 2 Beta
Ripten writes: "Want into the Resistance 2 Beta program? Well, if you live in the US you will be able to log into the PSN, buy episode three of Qore (Sony's online monthly subscription based programming) for $2.99, watch some advertisements, and boom - you are cleared for Resistance 2 Beta action. Of course, according to Insomniac's Community Manager, James Stevenson, this is only one of the many ways you will be able to get into the beta."

Click to download: The Bee's knees
Tim Lovejoy was once humiliated on his own chat show for wearing a Ramones T-shirt despite being unable to name a song by them, but the former Soccer AM presenter has made music a central part of the new internet TV station he's launched, with help from pop mogul Simon Fuller. Much of the content on Channel Bee is targeted at the sort of people who read Nuts magazine or laugh at WKD adverts, but the music coverage is actually well worth a look. For starters, it has the UR A&R slot, which offers an insightful snapshot of the sounds and personalities of hotly tipped new acts, currently including Cage the Elephant, Late of the Pier and thecocknbullkid. Then there is the archive of 18 full live gigs the site has filmed, including recent shows at London's Somerset House from Duffy, We Are Scientists, Lupe Fiasco and the Fratellis. Another internet TV channel worthy of a visit is Dublin-based MUZU. The site has apparently secured some $8m of funding in recent months, so somebody with deep pockets is impressed enough by its plans to provide a central hub where bands, festivals and music magazines can broadcast their music TV online, while earning advertising revenue. MUZU has signed deals with 200 labels and content producers, including Sony BMG, Ministry of Sound and Ninja Tune, and there's already a wealth of content available to watch, from 15 official videos on the Bob Dylan channel to interviews, live tracks and video blogs on the Ting Tings. But some of the best content is to be found on ITN's channel, where it has posted dozens of fascinating archive interviews, be they from the Tube (Iggy Pop, Mick Jagger, Miles Davis, Kajagoogoo) or with Gloria Hunniford (Dusty Springfield, Paul Simon, Kylie Minogue). It's three years since Brighton cut- and-paste groovesters the Go! Team received a Mercury nomination for their glorious Thunder, Lightning, Strike album. Sadly, the band have rather slipped off the radar since then, but this week they unveiled a cracking new "free digital stuff" area of their website, thegoteam.co.uk. In exchange for your email address, they will give you no fewer than 10 free MP3s, including their new single, Milk Crisis, the 4-track Get It Together EP (their first-ever release) and remixes which they've either done for other acts (Jim Noir, Polyphonic Spree) or which other acts have done for them (Hot Chip, Kevin Shields, Simian Mobile Disco). As if that weren't generous enough, they're also offering bedroom remixers more than 50 individual parts that make up two of their best tracks, Ladyflash and Flashlight Fight. It's a bumper, bountiful package that you'd be daft not to take advantage of.Related StoriesTwo wheelsBilly Bragg: Letters to music downloaders are a waste of timeDeerhoof leak new single in sheet-music formLimit mobile phone use, cancer expert tells staffInternet: Veteran leaves in Microsoft shake-up

Sidekick Phone and Sony PSP Slim in one gadget
Product Reviews Writes: "First we had the Sony PSP then came the slimmed down version with a more sleek design. What happens if we combine the PSP slim with a Sidekick mobile phone? Samuel Lau has designed a concept gadget that includes the features of both these devices. We love looking at concept gadgets and the main reason for this is the ability to do almost anything you can dream about. The so called 3rd generation Sony PSP includes: a slide-up QWERTY keyboard, a full frontal webcam, another 3.2 megapixel cam around the back, geo-tracking, a touch screen and motion sensors."
