MPAA Helped Cops Nab Hundreds of Movie Pirates
The Motion Picture Association of America said Monday it assisted authorities in arresting 461 movie pirates in China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Korea. About 1,000 optical disc burners were also seized in the three-month operation that ended in July. Nearly five dozen pirates were nabbed using a camcorder in the cinema, the MPAA said.
