Robbers target armored trucks
Two men trying to rob an armored truck in Northeast Miami-Dade on Tuesday shot the guard before fleeing, police said. It was the second attack on an armored car in South Florida on Tuesday.

Peugeot profit rises 49%, reiterates margin target
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- French car maker PSA Peugeot Citroen said Wednesday that its first-half net profit jumped 49% to 733 million euros ($1.16 billion) as it also maintained its target for sales growth of 5% in the year and an operating margin of 3.5%. The group said total sales for the first half rose 1.6% to 31.3 billion euros and operating margin improved to 3.6% from 2.7% a year earlier helped by 882 million euros of cost cuts. Peugeot said it expects a slowdown in the Western European markets for the year of around 4%, with a more difficult second half. In its priority growth regions, it's expecting growth of around 15%.
