IGN : Killzone 2 Progress Report
It seems IGN is now impressed with KZ2 . This is what IGN had to say about KZ2 in their latest preview :- "Like the only other opening we've seen for Killzone 2, things started off in the air and poorly when we got our hands on the game's second level. As Alpha Team and Sev -- that's you, a battle-hardened soldier -- make their approach to a budding warzone near the Visari's capital, the Helgast start shooting down the incoming dropships. One of the squads directly in front of you goes boom, and as the flames engulf the transport, one of the soldiers flies from the fire and crashes into your rig. Awesome." " Even that makes it sound like we're just talking about how good the big moments look, but there are little touches that make this world look lived in. There's rust on the containers littering the battlefield; when we sprayed some machine gun fire at a Helghast in hiding, the impact zones on the wall glowed orange before cooling to black; and there's the satisfaction of placing the small green dot of your assault rifle's scope on top of a foe and dropping him with one shot. "

IGN: Resistance 2 Multiplayer Hands-On
Sony's surest bet for this year has to be Resistance 2. The game is the follow-up to the system's (far and away) best launch title, and it's coming from Insomniac, which has proven itself to be an extremely reliable card in Sony's deck. The game was on display a couple weeks ago over in London, but IGN had the chance to check it out stateside today. As was the case a couple weeks ago, Insomniac is only showing off multiplayer, and only on one stage. While IGN would have loved to have gotten a glimpse at the single-player aspect, they were pretty much already sold on the multiplayer thanks to its rather inventive squad system.

Interview: Yuasa on the Brilliance of Echochrome
Few games are exactly what they appear to be. Upon GameZone's first viewing of Echochrome, the incredible puzzle/illusion game for PSP and PlayStation 3, they had a moment of disbelief as the concept began to sink in. Within 30 seconds they went from “this looks different” to “this looks amazing.” More amazing than the premise is the game's execution. When the demo launched on PlayStation Network, Gamezone came to it with very specific expectations. It wasn't just that they had high hopes for this game — theyhad a vision for how it would play. That vision is exactly what it turned out to be. Echochrome is available now on PlayStation 3 and PSP via the PlayStation Network Store. The PSP version can also be purchased from the PlayStation Network Store for PC. Having fallen for the game long before its release, GameZone was delighted to chat with Kumi Yuasa (Associate Producer) on how this brilliant title was brought to life.
