Mansfield officer's widow seeks trial delay
MANSFIELD -- Trina Evans vowed not to fade away quietly.The widow of slain Mansfield police Officer Brian Evans filed a motion for continuance Friday in the case of Larry Evans Jr. She questions the forensic evaluations of her brother-in-law and wants an independent review.

New year dawns for city schools
