Peter Moore: Wii to Win Console War with Over 50% Market Share
GameDaily: It's a lot easier to talk about the console wars when you're not running the business behind one anymore. EA Sports' Peter Moore sees Wii taking the crown. While Sony's Kaz Hirai told the Financial Times that he thinks the PS3 can sell 150 million units during its lifespan, former Xbox man and current EA Sports label president Peter Moore gave the Times a different picture of what he expects the market to look like several years down the road. Moore, like many others in the industry, has predicted a relatively easy victory for Nintendo.

Dead Rising Wii Screens: Where Did All The Zombies Go?
Kotaku: To men huddled around the big tables at Capcom HQ, the idea of porting yet another big-selling, zombie-based title to the Wii must sound like a no-brainer! You've got to wonder, though, whether they consulted with the tech guys before pushing forward with the project. Because as far as the 360 version was concerned, the thing that stopped it from being an awful beat-em up and made it such an awesome game were the hundreds of zombies the 360 could process. From these screens, it doesn't look like the Wii can do hundreds. It can do dozens. Maybe.

Sega detail new Wii Sonic game, coming 2009
DarkZero: In the recent issue of Nintendo Power - a long running US based Nintendo centric magazine - a new Sonic game for the Wii was revealed called Sonic and the Black Knight. On the front page of the mag Sonic was shown holding a sword, and this image made the whole Internet cry. Thankfully, Sega has now taken time out to issue a press release to explain a bit about the game and stop wild speculation. They also reveaed that Sonic Team in Japan will be the developers of the game, and it is currently planned for release in Spring 2009.

Here are some Call Of Duty 5 Wii screenshots straight from the official COD site http://www.callofduty.com/intel/60 As you can see, new Developer Treyarch Studios is putting a impressive amount of effort into the title. The game looks equally impressive in motion, with a lot of on screen effects and a ton of detail. Between this game, Madworld, The Conduit, and Dead Rising maybe some of the other 3rd party developers will be forced to stop cutting corners and actually making game that pushes the Wii hardware.
