A lot of people are upset about this. I guess they want us to pay for everything. Premium movie channels, subscription sports channels, pay per view, etc... I thought the TV networks made their money from advertising.

What many people don't realize is how much Elvis made in his lifetime. I've asked my friends what they think Elvis earned and they always guess somewhere under $100 million. His estimated lifetime earnings were $4.3 billion. This was achieved in a time when earning in the billions was almost unheard of. His career spanned from 1954-1977. Pretty amazing huh? Elvis was probably the biggest star of all time.

Well this definitely sucks. My cable company doesn't have the Big Ten Network so I can't watch the game. I'm sure this will stir a lot of angry fans.

This was a very disappointing World Series. The Rockies didn't really threaten to win a game. I think the 8-day layoff before the series was too long.
