Maybe some of your family may remember my mother Joyce Walford and my uncles Tom and Eric.
My mother also moved to Canada in the 1950's where I was born. My mother now lives in Canada and the UK.
As a child i heard so many stories of Lyndhust, so in a way it feels that I have some sort of attachment to the place. comment on Maestro of the house: Jeff Wayne's London home Oct 24, 2008 09:37 AM [GMT]

If Charlotte Philby or any others who know how I can contact Jeff Wayne, please let me know. Jeff Wayne's home is the home of my mother's childhood, and as my mother is now 80 years old, I would love the chance for my mother to see her former home for one last time.
Nicholas.

My brother tried to visit Lyndhurst this past summer and rang the bell at the gate, but there was no answer.
Before WWII, the home belonged to my grandfather Harold Walford, and was the home where my mother was raised.
All my life I have geard stories about Lyndhurst and it's as though it is part of my life.
The home was much larger than it is now. At one time it housed my granfather's private hospital.
The home was taken over by the British Army during the war and was used as a communication centre and was bombed by the Germans.
My mother is now aging, and I know how much she would love to see the home of her childhood one last time. comment on Maestro of the house: Jeff Wayne's London home Sep 16, 2008 2:13 PM [GMT]
