Lung cancer continues to be one of the most under-funded cancers. Partly due to the thought that lung cancer patients are smoker and have done it to themselves. Unfortunate, are the other thousands of patients that have lung cancer but never smoked. We need to undo the bad stigma and fund lung cancer more appropriately.

The fact that HIV patients can live longer makes the next important issue of assuring early identification of the infection via mass screenings. There is testing at clinics, doctors offices and at home tests from pharmacies and online home health screening companies so a lack of access should not be a reason to not geting tested.
